As over 22 earthquakes hit the Oklahoma region in just two days’ time, the United States Geological Survey apparently felt the need to calm some of the paranoia and confusion. They released an article today that details an investigation into whether this and other major earthquakes, such as the ones in Turkey and Japan, are related to an overall increase in the frequency of earthquakes on Earth. As you might imagine, they are quick to point out that there is nothing to be concerned about.
The official USGS release is located here. Check it out and let us know what you think.
