Common Sense Conspiracy is not and will never be a political site. However, for the last eight years, which happens to be the whole time this organization has been in existence, conspiracy theories seemed to be the dominion of people on the conservative side of the political spectrum. This is not for any reason but just the flow of things. When Barack Obama was President, liberals were more likely to think things were going great and conspiracy theories were just nutjobs. Now, power has switched, and the Democrats are the ones constantly pointing their fingers. Is this wrong? Not at all. It’s natural in our system which fools so many people into siding when there is only one side.
Don’t worry, friends. We have forgiven you for dismissing us as tin foil hat fodder for almost a decade. Come on in. Our arms are open and ready to see what you have to bring to the debate.
We’re not here to report the news. You should know this by now if you are a regular here. There are plenty of sources for you to find the news, be it fake or somewhat based in truth. By now, you no doubt know something of the chemical attack that has now led to an American attack on Syria and setting the stage for a major conflict with Russia and perhaps the world. As you might imagine, there are plenty of conspiracy theories sprouting up like weeds on this one. Let’s examine some of the most common ones so far.
Assad got fingered when he wasn’t behind it. This theory revolves around the concept that Assad did not perpetrate this attack but was blamed for it by somebody else. The who is a whole different story. Some believe the rebels, Russia, or even a false flag perpetrated by America itself to engage in war. Each possible assailant has it’s own reasons. The most obvious is the rebels who certainly benefit from a Syrian airbase being decimated. For Donald Trump it could mean diverting attention away from the investigation of his campaign’s supposed ties to Russia. There’s probably other parties we haven’t even heard about yet.
How valid are any of these theories? It’s hard to say at this point. We at Common Sense Conspiracy are working overtime to get more real facts before we weigh in. But you can bet there’s more to the story than you will hear about on your mainstream news sources, and we will continue to make sure the real story gets told as more information becomes available.
In case you missed it, a few weeks ago President Donald Trump shocked the world when he took to Twitter to scold former President Barack Obama for wiretapping him and his associates during the presidential campaign and subsequent transition. Everyone laughed, pointed fingers, made memes, and said Trump was off his rocker. Only, now the Susan Rice revelations are showing that whether or not Trump was exactly right, he was at least not talking complete nonsense, and it will probably turn into quite a political and possibly even criminal issue as the Obama administration seeks to make Susan Rice the fall gal for the second time (remember Benghazi anyone?). We are not here to discuss the allegations and what it means. We just want to give our readers a quick scorecard so they are up to speed on where we are at with things.
Ok, let’s start back last year when Russia supposedly leaked to Wikileaks the emails that revealed that Bernie Sanders never was really in this thing, and the DNC let millions of Americans donate their hard-earned money to his campaign knowing full well that it was fixed and Hillary Clinton would be the candidate no matter what happened. Now, follow along here, Russia supposedly did this to “influence” the election by revealing to the American people that at least half of the primary process was fixed. Now, the whole Russia investigation revolves around the idea that Trump or someone close to Trump was talking and colluding with Russia to make this happen. Just in case that didn’t sink in, they are saying that Trump was colluding with Russia to leak the truth about the Democratic primary to the American people. In other words, Russia sought to influence the election in Trump’s favor by revealing to the American people just how corrupt the Democratic Party really was. And Trump was helping reveal the truth, which is what they are now investigating. I know it’s confusing.
Now, we find out that President Obama’s administration was also working hard to uncover the Trump collusion with Russia so it could leak it to the media or WikiLeaks and therefore influence the election in the other direction. Trump accused Obama of doing so, so he is now accusing Obama of doing what Obama is accusing him of doing. The scary thing is it looks like they are all right.
Yes, everyone is right. Everyone was trying to influence the election in an illegal fashion, and they were all doing it by revealing facts about each of the candidates that are basically indisputable. So, they sought to cleverly lie by telling the truth. Are you still with me?
Perhaps it would have been a lot easier if either political party could have simply found a decent human being to run for President. But that was too much to ask.
The terrorist incident in London in the area of the House of Commons has the United Kingdom on edge as reports of casualties and injuries grow by the minute. As is common in situations like these, there is tons of information being disseminated, but it is very difficult to ascertain the truth at this point. For this reason and more, Common Sense Conspiracy chooses to wait until more facts are available before we give our opinion on the nature of this attack.
That bring said, many conspiracy theorists refuse to take this prudent approach. Many have already taken to the Internet to voice their opinions about this being a false flag operation or some piece of government propaganda. Who knows at this point, but some of the alleged evidence being presented is unfortunately on the ridiculous side. Ritual dates, Illuminati references, and allusions to times on clocks in major films is not evidence of a false flag operation. It may turn out that there is more to this story, but this kind of speculation only aids those that try to discredit those of us who seriously and responsibly question the official account of things.
It is pretty spectacular. James Comey today announced that the FBI is investigating whether the Trump campaign (you know, the one that won the election) colluded with Russia to influence the election. That’s pretty crazy news, if not surprising. We were already amazed that Hillary Clinton was able to run for president while being constantly investigated by the FBI (still ongoing, as a matter of fact), and now our sitting President is the subject of an investigation as well. The really crazy thing about it is that while it may be troubling if Trump’s campaign really was making deals with Russia to try to win the election, it doesn’t change the facts about the whole thing. Here’s a shocking revelation for you.
If Russia did try to influence the election, they did it only by revealing true things to Americans about their existing government. Let that sink in for a moment. That’s right. They didn’t hack electronic voting machines and change votes to Trump. They didn’t smear his opponent’s name with stories that were not true. They simply released information that Americans were never supposed to know, among those that the Democratic primary was a put-up deal from day one. Can you be accused of influencing an election by simply making public information the public should have had anyway?
Now, we’re not making a political statement here. The opinion of Common Sense Conspiracy is well known. We are not supporting Trump or Clinton with this message. What we are doing is just reminding everyone that this supposed “collusion” is being reported like it’s a dirty thing. In reality, Russia did the American people a solid by letting us know that our government is a lot closer to Putin’s government than we may have thought beforehand. Unfortunately for Hillary, her name is synonymous with government corruption, so it kind of puts a bad taste in people’s mouth. What’s more, what difference would it make if Russia had revealed damning information about Trump or the RNC? Trump survived the now infamous tape of him saying atrocities and it didn’t even slow down his train. And the RNC might have wished they had a plan like the Democrats did, but we all know that primary wasn’t fixed because of who won it.
So, when you watch these reports of how evil Russia tried to influence the American election, think whatever you like. But remember how they did it… by telling us the truth.
In the media’s never-ending mission to do anything it can to discredit Donald Trump’s presidency, they are actually doing things they may regret in the future when the dust clears. While Trump does seem thus far to be an outsider that has somehow wandered into the White House and a tangled web of shadow government figures that don’t know exactly what to do with him, there is little reason to think that his insurgency is really the start of something changing long-term. The truth is that they will either determine how to use Trump or they will find a way to be rid of him. However, there are some interesting things to point out.
Conspiracy theorists have, of course, long pointed to the existence of a shadow government that is really calling the shots behind the scenes of the government we are taught is in control in our high school civics classes. For years now, the mainstream media scoffed at that idea and called anyone that suggested such a thing a “conspiracy nut.” Well, throw that out the window, as the mainstream media is now happily reporting about what it is calling the “deep state,” which it describes as people tucked away in the government that help make sure that things like a Trump presidency don’t cause too much damage (but for whom?). Not only are they acknowledging the existence of this “deep state,” but they are even bragging on how important it is to stop Trump from destroying the country. That is pretty amazing if you think about it. The media is actually verifying the long-held belief that there is more to the government than meets the eye. Go figure, right?
Does this mean we are seeing the disassembly of the shadow government or the push for a one-world government? Not at all. But it does make it a little bit harder for the mainstream media and government to dismiss conspiracy theorists as nutjobs going forward. It turns out once again that they were right all along. Why is this becoming such a recurring theme here in this age?
In a classic move of government-sponsored deception, we are watching our two-party one-party political system battle back and forth about supposed surveillance of now-President Donald Trump while WikiLeaks releases information from the CIA that reveals unprecedented violations of American privacy. No one does deception and misdirection better, and this is no exception. What better way to divert attention away from the WikiLeaks reveal than by having it mixed up in articles about wiretapping and other such drama. The average person that laps up the mainstream media’s faux news will think that the articles are related somehow and move on to the latest moves of the Kardashians or hoping maybe another O.J. Simpson docudrama is in the works. They would never pay attention to the fact that these leaks just revealed the tactics that many conspiracy theorists were called paranoid nutcases when they suggested it.
That’s right. Your iPhone can listen to you. Your smart television might be turning itself on to check in on what you are up to. Your Amazon Alexa echo might be listening for more than just the codeword. It’s true. You thought it all along, and you were right. The CIA uses all this wonderful technology to spy on American citizens, as well as people abroad, and we now have the proof.
But let’s all worry about whether President Obama ordered Donald Trump’s tower to be wiretapped during the election. That’s insane to think Obama could do something like that. Never mind the fact that it is known that the FBI investigated Trump’s ties with Russia and then announced that there was nothing to it. Yes, that happened. Look it up. The FBI announced publicly before the election that it was looking into Trump’s ties with Russia. It then, much in the fashion that it did with Hillary Clinton twice, announced there was nothing to it. The media has continued to harp on the story, proven false by our “authorities”, ever since, and they have completely forgotten the Hillary Clinton case, which ended exactly the same way. So, if Trump is a little aggravated, he is probably right. The media is definitely choosing which fiction it wants to purvey to the public. But that doesn’t mean that Trump is some sort of freedom fighter. He is being used right now, and he was probably briefed on the supposed wiretapping situation just so he would go nuclear on Twitter and cover for this other story that it actually much bigger and much more important.
That’s why we file this article in our category called While You Were Sleeping.
