No Current Presidential Candidates Attend Bilderberg Group Meeting in Austria

It has long been suggested that the ultra-secret and ultra-elite Bilderberg group christen the next President of the United States at their yearly conference when an election year is coming up. We all remember the incredible circumstances that brought both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in close proximity to the conference in 2008. Naturally, a lot of people were anxiously looking at the slate of bilderberg hotelattendees in 2015 for a glimpse into the future of American politics. Well, it appears that anyone that subscribes to that logic is in for a disappointment. No current presidential candidate, Republican, Democrat, or otherwise, was included in this year’s meeting in June in Austria. The guest list below features many prominent figures in politics worldwide, but none of the names ring a bell with one of the widest fields of presidential candidates in the nation’s history.
What does it mean? Well, there are a couple of ways of looking at this. First of all, the Bilderberg group may simply be changing its tactics. They no doubt are aware of this theory, and perhaps they have stopped the practice to throw people off the trail or to hopefully cause a loss of interest in their yearly conference. It also could mean that someone at the meeting is going to become a presidential candidate soon and we just don’t know about it yet. However, no one on the guest list is anyone that would not be a total surprise if they became a candidate. The last possible answer is that they haven’t decided who they are going to throw their weight behind yet, and we will see a candidate at next year’s meeting, which will take place just a couple of months before the big election. This would be a different policy than in years past, but it is still certainly possible. In any case, there is no smoking gun for an American President from this year’s meeting. Stay tuned.
