So, what the hell is the Poprah?  Well, that’s the hashtag associated on Twitter with the concept of Oprah Winfrey, America’s beloved talk-show extraordinaire/shape-shifting welterweight/heavyweight/superheavyweight/alien reptilian, being the next Pope.  Plenty of people have weighed in on this concept, and the results have been comedic at best, and downright frightening at its worst.  But the quips on the potential Poprah are just the tip of the iceberg.  There are plenty of jokes regarding the Catholic crisis revolving around child molesting priests, and plenty of general comedy about the whole situation.

So what do you think?  Oprah Winfrey for POPE 2013???  Or are you tired of the comedy?  Does the resignation of the Pope hit too close to home?  And Christians, Catholic or no, what does this mean to you?  Is it cause for celebration, quiet reflection, mourning, or anticipation?

These are the questions we want to hear your answers to.  But in the meantime… are you ready for the Poprah?
