Robert Griffin III is an amazing athlete, but additionally, seems to be a well-rounded member of society. Why is that so hard for Rob Parker to stomach?

As you may have heard by now, ESPN analyst Rob Parker made some critical remarks about Washington Redskins rookie sensation Robert Griffin III. There is a video on our site if you want to see exactly what Mr. Parker had to say. Those comments are why racism is unfortunately still prevalent not only in the United States but the civilized world as a whole.

My question to Rob Parker is, why are you so concerned with RGIII’s personal life? You called into question that there is a “rumor” that RGIII has a white fiance. Why does that even matter? Why is that even being brought into the discussion? RGIII should be applauded that he has found someone to share his life with. Whether she is white, black, brown, purple, yellow should not ever matter! If they are happy together then let them be happy.

Also called into question is the fact that RGIII is a Republican. Yet again, why does his political views matter? I never knew that it mattered if a quarterback in the NFL had to be Republican or Democrat. Why don’t you ask Peyton Manning or Tom Brady what their political affliations are, since apparently this is a hot button topic?

Maybe Rob Parker is jealous of RGIII. Are you that jealous that you have to try and bring this young, successful man down? Parker also alluded to the fact that RGIII was not “black” enough and he was not a “brother”. What does that have to do with anything? Why are you trying to distract this man from dong his job?

We here at the CSC believe that ESPN should have fired Rob Parker. Why? Because if anyone else made those comments they would have been fired.

We have an idea. If Rob Parker wants his job back, then have him publicly apologize to RGIII, LIVE ON ESPN!!! That’s right, apologize right to the man’s face. If he accepts, then you can have your job back. If RGIII does not accept, then don’t let the door hit you on the a*$ on the way out.

People like you, Rob Parker, are the reason why racism will not go away. People like you are the ones who keep playing the racism card. Remember, you are the one who said RGIII is not supporting the “cause”. What cause?

Rob Parker, you need to stop stirring the pot.
