Mayan Queen Lady K’abel’s Tomb Discovered in Guatemala — 2012 Connection?

Lady K’abel was a fierce and revered female leader in the ancient Mayan world.  She was prominent in the royal city of El Peru-Waka, the remains of which are now found in Guatemala.  Now, archaeologists are very excited that her tomb has finally been discovered.  The tomb dates back to the Classical Mayan period which was in the range of 200 to 900 A.D.  It is generally accepted that K’abel lived during her husband King K’inich Bahlam II’s reign from 672 to 692.  While she was not an actual ruler, as queen, she held plenty of power and influence.

The tomb is a great scoop for archaeology, but will it be found to have any connection to the December 21, 2012 doomsday scenarios?  Could Lady K’abel have something to share with us that might bring our fate more into focus?  Or will she further reveal that the magical date that has inspired so much intrigue is not really special at all?
