Setting the Record Straight — The Republican Primary is Not Over — Delegates Are Not Bound to Vote for Romney or Anyone Else

This video starts out by questioning Mitt Romney and company’s moving on to attacking President Obama when they haven’t really claimed the nomination yet. Of course, most in the media concede that Romney is all but certain to be the man when the Republican National Convention comes around in August. However, interestingly enough, a lot of the votes that are counted as sure things for Mitt Romney are still very much in contention. And with other candidates abandoning their campaigns because of their longstanding ties to the Republican Party, a maverick like Ron Paul could actually still steal the thing legitimately. As a matter of fact, when you look at the facts, it’s not even that much of a long shot. Is the Republican Party a little too smug that they have their man? Are the American people behind Mitt Romney or just the heavy-hitters in the party? Looks like we’ll see in August.
