Curtis Knapp is the preacher at a the Newhope Baptist Church in Seneca, Kansas. He recently delivered a sermon in which he made some extraordinary recommendations for how to handle the homosexual community. He claims that while he doesn’t want to see anyone harmed or injured, he feels an obligation to preach on Scripture. In his opinion, the Bible is pretty clear on homosexuality as a sin against God, and he believes that it should be treated as such. He doesn’t believe the government would ever do such a thing (and certainly they would not), but he stands by his sermon despite a backlash since it went viral. This is a news clip that spotlights some of the controversial comments.
