Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has called for “discretion” around his country’s investigation of a secret CIA prison on Polish soil. The prison was used, according to human right activists, to house Al-Qaeda suspects. Poland has denied the existence of this prison in spite of reports by the European Parliament and the Council of Europe that say Poland and Romania have these secret prisons. These prisons served “extraordinary rendition” and the suspects were often held without necessary court orders and tortured. Do you remember when George Bush said that these prisons existed? It’s all coming out now.
